Our Story

Generations and their Traditions Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society is not a traditional funeral home. Instead, we specialize in providing simple and meaningful Life Celebrations for the families we are honored to serve. We do not require the purchase of caskets or any of the other typical mortuary services – and the savings for you are dramatic. In their place, we will serve as your trusted advisor, guiding you and your family to the planning choices that best fit your requirements. We routinely assist both surviving families – and those wishing to thoughtfully plan ahead for themselves. Baldwins have assisted Floridians for three generations. Thomas Baldwin began his career in 1932 as a Funeral Director in Miami. Richard Baldwin founded Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Homes and Cemeteries in Orlando in 1973 (sold to a New Orleans based company, Richard is no longer affiliated). James Baldwin acquired the New Smyrna Beach funeral home in 1980. Each generation has seen funeral preferences taken in new directions. Evans Baldwin established Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society in 2008 to assist the next generation by specializing in affordable Life Celebrations with cremation - but it is fully licensed to care for those favoring historic traditions. We feel privileged to have gained the trust of many thousands of Florida families over the generations and pledge, personally, to serve you and your family's needs to the very best of our ability. And though traditions have changed with our generations, our core standards of professionalism have remained. Today, regardless of your preferences, we will help you decide which Life Celebration is your best choice. Thank you for the privilege of assisting you.
