Anesthesia and Pain Consultants of SWF, the premier anesthesia group in Southwest Florida will be closing its doors at the end of this year 2025. After close to 50 years of operation, the group was sold to a national company and its business operations and professional responsibilities have been transferred to that new corporation. We are proud of the excellent care the many doctors, nurse anesthetists and office staff have provided to the community for all of these years. We thank the community for its support. APC (Anesthesia & Pain Consultants of SW Florida) held its annual Christmas/Holiday party at Blue Coyote dinner Club on Saturday.
It may be our last fete but as always it was the party of the year with our revered anesthesiologists and Nurse Anesthetists, Lee health administration, surgical staff, friends and supporters, retired and active and our new partners from NAPA. Ty Turner half of the Icarus Account provided stellar entertainment and the staff of Blue Coyote, Mitch Schwenke and Corey Swarthout provided unparalleled cuisine and service. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and wishes for a fruitful new year!

Tremendous work!

Sanibel Causeway reopens today at 11:00 am. This reopening comes two days ahead of the scheduled date, Friday, and 36,000 work hours were required to make the repairs.

Governor Ron DeSantis announced the reopening in a news conference today morning.
