Sign up for free UAMS MASH and CHAMPS summer camps for rising juniors and seniors. The 22 camps last up to 2 weeks with hands-on suturing, workshops, field trips, CPR training, heart dissection and more. Deadlines range from March 13-May 8.

Medical Applications of Science for Health, or MASH, is a free two-week summer enrichment camp that allows high school students to learn more about health career options.

Dr. Lowry Barnes, new chancellor of UAMS, spoke to the Rural Health Association of Arkansas conference today, touting the 6 family medicine residency programs, 3 rural tracks and pursuit of more in the state. He mentioned our pipeline programs so folks can get introduced to health care early and hopefully pursue as a profession.

UAMS Healthy Heart Center comes to Fort Smith! We are exited to share starting January 28, a UAMS Cardiologist will be available every Wednesday to care for patients with heart and vascular needs at our Fort Smith clinic.
