There are more than 4.6 million Americans who live with an intellectual or developmental disability (I/DD). At the local level, in Sebastian and Crawford counties alone, 25% of children/adults are living with a "cognitive disability" that impacts their lives. These individuals need services and support to become valued, contributing members of their communities. The Arc for the River Valley focuse
s on providing recreational activities as well as advocacy and educational support for individuals with I/DD and their caregivers. The Arc serves a membership of over 460 members. With your past support we were able to continue to keep our member dues low, to keep our activities and events free, and to provide free snacks and drinks to members. To continue our current services as well as add new ones, we need your continued support. Due to the economic issues, 2020 was a difficult year financially for all non-profits.
