Satin Marche is the founder of The Village of Sacred Melanin , a sacred space offering holistic care for Black families through ancestral wisdom, wellness, and community-centered design. As a Green Interior Decorator, Kemetic practitioner, yoga facilitator, and postpartum doula, she supports families in creating toxin-free, spiritually grounded homes that nurture both baby and parent through all four trimesters. Her approach honors the importance of rest, ritual, and rhythm during the sacred transition from womb to world.

Satin’s own journey as a military spouse, eldest sibling, and mother informs her work deeply. Through her Meals for Milso® initiative, she connects military families with homemade, nourishing meals prepared by fellow military spouse entrepreneurs. She also offers sliding-scale services, group rituals, and community yoga. Whether she’s creating healing spaces or advocating for support in remote military communities, Satin reminds us that where the village gathers, Spirit moves.

We would like to say thank you to the The Village of Sacred Melanin for their donation of prenatal vitamins and Doterra Emergency Bags. We have given them away at the Ludowici Market and during giveaways. We have a few bottles of prenatal vitamins left if anyone needs some.

While Military families are frequently excluded from reproductive justice conversations, I continue to challenge the conversation frameworks by advocating on behalf of our village."

In 2016, Satin Marche of Sacred Melanin was a meat eater, experiencing life in college & she found herself in a place of depression, or what we classify as depression. She later learned that the energy of fear that animals feel in slaughter houses was being transferred on to her. This gave her a deeper innerstanding of energy as well as depression being an imbalance within the energy centers or Aritu. She realized just how much she was operating from an unconscious state of mind & that realization influenced her to make more conscious decisions in her life in order to evolve beyond what was being fed to her... literally & figuratively. Though those changes happened for her, I'd like to think that they were for you, too! Satin Marche is healing myself everyday in order to align with my higher self & be a light for those who are attracted.

When she first discovered her life purpose as well as other creative gifts, she decided to use what worked for her & then allowed access to others. She gained wisdom by learning about Melanin, The Endocrine System, chakras from the Western hemisphere & then from the source, Kemet, crystals and how they carry energy. She became a Kemetic Reiki Practitioner & has incorporated the use of Aritu exercises, sound therapy & breathing exercises, as well as doterra essential oils, & herbs + nutrition for Melanated beings into her practices. While on her Journey to Sacred Alignment & being a life path 9, she soon realized it is her calling to teach her KemUNITY about all things Melanin. In 2019 Sacred Melanin was born. Sacred Melanin helps Melanated people become whole by aligning their Chakras so they can transition to a more wholistic lifestyle; using a variety of alternative methods. Sacred Melanin's soul mission is to help heal a KemUNITY of people who seek & find that a more wholistic approach is essential for their spirit, mind & body. Remember, "inner stand your Melanin is Sacred, do all you can to protect it!"
