A year that asked everything of me.

I was pregnant with my first baby—high risk, full of unknowns, holding my breath more days than not. I finished OB residency, moved states, bought our first home, and started my first attending job… all before welcoming our daughter into the world.

We were lucky. We had the best outcome. 🤍

And then came the quiet part, exhaustion, new motherhood, learning how to slow down, and spending countless hours contact napping with a tiny human on my chest.

Looking back now, I see strength I didn’t know I had, growth I couldn’t appreciate at the time, and the beginning of everything that came next.

If you’re in a hard season right now this is your reminder that you don’t see the full picture while you’re living it. One day, you will.
