2024 KICKOFF PARTY 🎉

This month we hosted a kickoff party to celebrate our recent cohort of businesses and entrepreneurs taking residence in Fort Worth to develop and expand their business.

We invited community members, entrepreneurs, and other small businesses to network and mingle with the cohort, hear their stories, and exchange ideas over food and beverages.

and began the night with a kickoff speech to introduce our companies to the community with great reception!

The sun may be setting on this 2023 accelerator, but the family we’ve become will always feel like home.

In September we gathered from five different countries—not just adding diversity to the tech sector with our geography but with 80% female founders.

During this intense season of growth and learning, the entrepreneurs have spent a lot of time together at Create Fort Worth —with mentors in their respective fields, with entrepreneurs who can offer unique insights, and as a group of founders willing to learn from each other.

So proud of how this group has grown—can’t wait to see them finish the Techstars Physical Health Accelerator strong.

Thanks for the peek behind the scenes, The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth —your Regional Simulation Center exceeded our expectations.

When it comes to healthcare, the ability to practice on mannequins in immersive scenarios is invaluable—and low risk! Our program partners at UNTHSC, gave us a tour of their top-of-of-the line simulation rooms, where instructors control every detail, from the secretion of a patient’s “blood” to their response to treatment and much more.

Our entrepreneurs even got to experience the augmented reality that allows participants to see what’s happening inside a patient in real-time.

For some of our 2023 class, using these simulation rooms during the accelerator will allow them to fine tune their products and further validate their results.
