Starting my summer voyage and my time with my oldest son before he goes into his senior year.

My schedule is blocked for the summer, stuff for a month checked, and here goes as we travel in trust.

I am going to learn a lot this summer I think.

1)First learning- when I am already stressed about 1,000 things don’t have my teenage son new driver take me to the airport.

When was the last time you saw the “picture” of what you wanted in your mind?

This happened to me this morning. I was going to get the newspaper and walked past the second picture- the buds had dropped perfectly and the light was right. It was EXACTLY the right picture for the front cover of my ebook.

The first picture makes it look easy. It wasn’t. This involved a quick outfit change, the begging of my 15 year old to take the picture, and his conversation, “but mom, I don’t know what you WANT!”, all before high school drop off line. But I think it was worth it.

Sometimes we are presented with the magic of what we want. And then we have to get to work.

I feel like this is the day for a lot of us. The right “thing” is going to be presented to you. It’s going to take work to get it right.

My prayer and blessing for you is that the work is smooth and the end result is what you have seen in your mind all along.
