Heeeeey friends! Remember that baby I posted about nearly two years ago? Well, she’s now wearing one of our new shirt designs 🙌🏼 (Are you thinking...Stacy, WHAT are you doing?!) Let me explain...⁠⠀

I’ve been shuffling things around online recently. For the past two years I’ve been working mostly with fiber arts, which you can if you scroll through my feed over at ✨⁠⠀
⁠⠀
But interests have changed as well, and I've been spending most of my time in graphic design and marketing, supporting makers, mission-minded organizations, and small business owners 🙌🏼⁠⠀

That said, a maker can never stop making 😆 So I’m resurrecting my account here for something new...a shop dedicated to happy tees, prints and handmade goods for moms, kids, and mamas 🌈⁠⠀

We are over the moon in love with our 2nd daughter, Anna Harper, who joined us last week on June 13th ❤️ We’re slowly adjusting to life as a family of four and catching naps when we can. But mostly, I’m just soaking up all the newborn cuddles. All of them.

Hey there 👋🏼 We’re just hanging out over here. Still a family of 3, one day past the due date and patiently awaiting baby sister’s arrival. The past week at home with this girl has been a blast. I finished an order for Winton and Waits and have been organizing the mess out of the long untouched corners of our home. We’ve also had a number of play dates and outdoor time, because...summer! 😎 I’ve recently found two resources I’m so pumped to dig into soon. First, I’m in love with the project & literature rich preschool curriculum by The Peaceful Press. I’m looking forward to setting this up for our home once my head is out of the newborn fog. And, I just got the book “Art Workshop for Children” by Barbara Rucci of Art Bar. It looks magical and will arrive on Monday! (But hopefully I’ll be in the hospital or preoccupied with a baby by then 😉)

School is out and we’re finally on summer break! But this June brings a ton of new life transitions. First, baby girl #2 is just days away (for which I’m hiding exclusively indoors.). Second, I am excited to announce that after teaching for 5 years at a school that I love, I will be staying home with my girls for the foreseeable future. This means, in addition to loving on & teaching my girls, I get the opportunity to dig into my creative projects more. In addition to Janie Bird & Co, I have fiber art pieces, workshops & yarn kits going on at Wool and Wow and photography/design freelance projects happening over at Stacy Aguilar. I can’t wait for this new season to start! But also, I’m excepting all the prayers. Transitioning to a SAHM ain’t easy y’all. Those ladies are rock stars. (Also, aren’t my new Sseko sandals lovely? Thanks for introducing me to this lovely, ethical brand.)

I tend to work in different parts of my house. Sometimes on the dining room table. Sometimes in our kitchen. And then other times, I find myself back in our craft/office space. This is our dining room, which doesn’t often get used for eating and more often than not, has little stacks of “this needs to go somewhere” stuff neatly organized for a future destination 🙈 But right now, it’s covered with burp cloth material for Baby Anna (due date in 8 dayssss) and a new order of bunny ear teethers for . A summer of big life transitions is just around the corner, and I can’t wait! ☀️

Hey Springtime, I love you, your flowers and you’re wonderfully pleasant weather.

Man I just love how the sun fills our house on a slow sunny Saturday. And our flower boxes are still, as of now, blooming 😉

I’ve started embroidering recently, and I think the little 4 inch hoops are just so cute! (More on all that at ).

Nearly 5 weeks until Baby Girl 2 is here and I’m starting to gather all the cute little pieces we’ll have around the house to welcome her! Made me think back on this sweet mention by a year or so back. I’m also deep down memory lane, finding, cleaning, and organizing Jane’s tiny newborn bows and clothes ❤️ 📷 :

It’s Friday!! And I’m excited to share some news with y’all. I’ve decided that I just have too many ideas to contain to one IG account. So, I’ve create Wool and Wow, a shop spinoff to highlight all the fiber work I do with weaving and punch needling. I’m also currently incredibly intrigued by natural yarn dying, fiber bundles, and starting up my workshops again. Consider liking Wool and Wow if that’s up your alley!✂️❤️

I get to hang out with this girlie today ❤️ I love her love for music, dancing and singing. When I was pregnant with Jane, I sang all the time, especially songs with good harmony, with the theory that she’d love music as much as we do. Crossing fingers for musicals, band, and/or choir concerts in our future!
