With a heavy heart I pass on the sad news that our very own Therapy Boxing alumni Jorge has passed and is with our Heavenly Father. I ask that we all pray for his family during this difficult times, he will be missed. I will carry the memory of Jorge’s smile when hitting the Dublin 🙏

Why Counseling + Boxing Together is Powerful:

Mind-Body Integration: Youth learn to connect physical sensations to emotions (e.g., how anger feels in the body), then regulate both.

Trauma-Informed Approach: Counseling can help process trauma, while boxing provides a physical, empowering experience to reclaim strength.

Outlet + Insight: Boxing gives a release; counseling gives the insight to understand and learn from emotional experiences.

Accountability & Growth: Coaches and therapists can work together to reinforce positive behavior, goal-setting, and self-discipline.
