For the third year in a row, our Account Executive, Meghan, joined Wesley Village of Macomb, IL, to educate their employees on hospice care and end-of-life services at their annual Skills Fair. As staff came through each station, they were checked off for various skills. Thank you, Wesley Village, for inviting us! We love to participate in events like these!

We’re spreading warmth this season. Traditions Health is partnering with The Community State Bank to collect canned soup and new socks for seniors in need.

Donations can be dropped off at the following Community State Bank locations: Poteau, Talihina, Wilburton, Wister, and Spiro. Small acts of kindness make a big impact. Help us keep our community cozy and cared for this season.

Meet Megan.

Megan is an account executive who brings compassion to her job every day. Her passion for the post-acute care industry began in high school when she started working as a CNA through a dual credit college class. Since then, she has committed herself to connecting patients and families with the hospice care they deserve.

"I wish people understood that hospice is so much more than just end-of-life care. We help walk the families through a really hard journey with an amazing team and support system."

Our Home Health and Hospice teams attended the Texas State Fair Wellness Expo, a community celebration of care, connection, and comprehensive wellness. We are so grateful for opportunities like these that allow us to give back to the community we live and work in.

On Friday, October 24, our Lafayette, LA, branch had a spooktacular time participating in the Ochsner Lafayette General Gumbo Cookoff! They cooked up some delicious gumbo for a good cause and took home 2nd place! All proceeds raised benefit the Ochsner Lafayette General Patient Assistance Fund, which helps cover unforeseen medical costs.
