Looking to try something new at home between your massage sessionsâť“âť“

I recently incorporated an acupressure board into my self-care routine and have been very impressed with the results. After several days of feeling tight and tense from the holiday season, I used it for less than 10 minutes and noticed a significant release in muscle tension!

While addressing ongoing tightness in my left shoulder, I was able to identify trigger points, focus on slow, intentional breathing, and experience improved comfort and range of motion. I’m excited to continue using this tool and see how it further supports muscle relaxation and recovery.

Acupressure boards can be a great complement to massage therapy by helping maintain progress between sessions and encouraging body awareness. Acupressure boards help stimulate circulation, release tension, and calm the nervous system between sessions, while massage therapy provides deeper muscle relief and long-lasting recovery. When combined, they support pain relief, relaxation, and overall balance—helping your body heal, reset, and feel its best.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year! 🎄⛄🔔❄️
Wishing everyone joy, peace, and reflection during this season of cheer and grace.

During this time of gift-giving and celebration, I am reminded of the true meaning of the holiday season. I am deeply grateful to live in a place where I can freely worship, glorify, and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

I am eternally thankful for His grace—for His forgiveness, love, and guidance. My faith journey has not been without challenges, but I am beyond grateful that God softened my heart and placed within me the desire to serve others by supporting their physical well-being through therapeutic massage.

Since returning to my faith nearly two years ago, Jesus has lifted my anger and frustration and replaced them with peace—allowing me to live with purpose, to serve others, and to move forward with gratitude for the life He has given us.

As we approach the new year, I wish peace and renewal for everyone! Mind, Body, & Massage is excited for what the year ahead will bring and looks forward to continuing to support and care for others through the gift of massage!

Hello everyone,

I typically keep the behind-the-scenes aspects of my business private. However, over the past three months, I have experienced an increase in inappropriate and sexually suggestive inquiries. Each time I receive messages of this nature, it takes a personal and professional toll. I have chosen to share a small sample of these messages to bring awareness to the issue.

Massage therapy is a therapeutic, healthcare-based service. It is not—and under my practice will never be—sexual in nature. It is deeply concerning how comfortable some individuals feel asking inappropriate questions, so I would like to be very clear:

• I do not provide massages without proper draping.
• I do not offer any sexual services.
• My age, gender, or personal status are not relevant or open for discussion.

What is relevant are my professional qualifications. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist who completed formal education at a fully accredited massage therapy school. I maintain my license in good standing through continuing education and keep my CPR and First Aid certifications current to ensure client safety at all times. My priority has always been—and will continue to be—the health, safety, and well-being of my clients.

That said, I will not compromise my own well-being by tolerating inappropriate or disrespectful inquiries. While I understand that such messages may still occur, I ask that you think before reaching out. If it is not a question you would ask a male massage therapist, or one you would feel comfortable asking face-to-face, please do not ask it at all.

Thank you to my clients and community who continue to treat this profession—and those who practice it—with the respect it deserves.
