We have a mother in need who had her baby early before she was able to reach out for support items.

Does anyone have baby girl or neutral clothes, blankets, bassinet, newborn or size 1 diapers etc?

Items can be dropped off at the Birthing Circle office 9 N Court street. A family member is coordinating pick up and delivery to the mom. Thank you

We are thrilled to welcome Kim Pekin, CNM, CPM, to the Midwifery Care Associates team at Simmonds, Martin & Helmbrecht.

Kim Pekin is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Certified Professional Midwife with nearly two decades of experience, including ownership of two CABC-accredited freestanding birth centers in Virginia. She offers full-scope midwifery care throughout the lifespan and is passionate about helping people have personalized birth experiences, whether that includes an epidural or an unmedicated labor.

Kim earned her Master of Science in Midwifery from Thomas Jefferson University and is currently completing her Doctorate of Midwifery. Kim was also recently appointed to the Virginia Maternal Mortality Review Team (MMRT) by Governor Glenn Youngkin.

Event reminder: Today from 1-6 The Birthing Circle mothers closet will be open for anyone needing baby clothes, bedding, nursing supplies etc. This is an open house style- come when you want, stay as long as you need.
Their will be birth and postpartum doulas on hand and our team mental health counselor to answer any questions you may have with pregnancy, birth, postpartum support and parenting. Looking forward to seeing you there.
If you wanted to make a donation drop off you may do so during this time as well. See you this afternoon
