Freelandville Community Home had our annual Fall Festival today. Thank you Dawn Schwindy & team for a fabulous event and all your hard work. Thank you Tina Richards for the amazing chili. Loved to see our residents, families, and team members having a great time. A special thanks to Gary McMillin for the hayrides.

Freelandville Community Home annual Bazaar is October 23rd 5:00-7:00 pm. All donated auction items can be given to Diana Bateman, 812-328-2134. A love offering meal of hamburger/hot dogs and sides will be provided. Join us for a meal, live music, and the annual bazaar auction. All proceeds from the auction go to directly benefit the residents.

Meet Brandie Price, Director of Nursing for FCH. Brandie was an LPN at Freelandville 2001-2007. She grew up in Carlisle and currently lives in Sullivan county. Brandie received her BSN in nursing at Vincennes University in 2024. Brandie is married to Patrick Price. She has 3 sons, a daughter, and a grandson. She enjoys concerts, organizing extended family gatherings, and a stationary nerd who loves to journal. Brandie will make a great addition to our FCH clinical team. We are excited to see where her leadership takes us.

We celebrated our environmental team this week. These ladies are the best. They know what “teamwork” means and role model it everyday. I am so proud of this team. Thank you ladies for keeping our community looking great. Happy Environmental Week!
