FINALLY!! A Return to Common Sense.
The newly released food pyramid is about 40 years late. A refreshing shift back to what our bodies have always needed: real food, balance, and moderation. Unlike the old pyramid which emphasized refined grains and low fat, highly processed foods - it acknowledges what decades of rising obesity, diabetes and heart disease have taught us: that guidance missed the mark.
Prioritizing whole foods, quality fats, fruits and vegetables isn't a trend, it's common sense. When nutrition advice aligns with how the human body works, better health naturally follows.
