Taking time for yourself to relax is a crucial part of self-care and self-love, so be sure to remember to take care of yourself as well. Happy Sunday, yogis and friends.

Happy Valentine's Day from me and my yoga business! Ironically, yoga philosophy has a lot to say about love and its role in our lives as yogis and individuals in the universe. In yoga philosophy, we recognize love as a state of being and consciousness, characterized by loving kindness, also known as *metta*. The overall goal of *metta* is to transcend self-ego limitations and show love to all creatures and the universe at large. This begins with showing yourself self-love and kindness because once you can do that regularly, then you can extend the kindness and unity of love to others around you. Then it is the continuing effect that, as love spreads, we heal the universe around us. Imagine what a lot of self-love can do for the world around us? I am personally joyful at the idea. Are you?
