INJURY PREVENTION
Princess has already torn her had on her left leg. The recovery period for that was brutal so we take every preventative measure we can to avoid her other knee blowing.
TENSION RELIEF
My girl works hard. She is an athlete. Her muscles are in overdrive all the time. She carries tension in her her shoulders and upper back. Relieving this tension not only makes her feel good but helps take tension off other joints (also preventing injury).
EARLY ARTHRITIC TREATMENT
Rottweilers are prone to osteoarthritic diseases. I cannot change her genetics but I can work with what's in front of me. Age only exaggerates joint deterioration. I want Princess to live her life feeling as good as possible.
Overall, this is about holistic wellness. Body mechanics and mobility have such a drastic effect on an animals cognitive abilities (yes, you, the human too) so I want to support her being her best self. And honestly Dr Maeg teaches me SO much every session. We geek out on shared experiences, dogs, neuroscience, and neurodivergence together.
