I started noticing the same women everywhere.

Different faces.
Different lives.
Different stories.

Same ache.

The woman who could not rest unless everything was done.

The woman who apologized before she spoke.

The woman who held the whole family together and then wondered why her body was falling apart.

The woman who looked successful from the outside but felt like she was living behind glass.

The woman who had become so good at surviving that she forgot survival was not the same thing as being alive.

I started calling them patterns.

Not personalities.
Not flaws.
Not diagnoses.

Patterns.

Because that felt more honest.

A pattern is something you learned.
Something that protected you once.
Something that made sense in the beginning.
Something that may now be costing you your life force.

And once I could hear the patterns, I could hear the songs.

Endurance had a sound.
Perfection had a sound.
Numbness had a sound.
Control had a sound.
The threshold had a sound.

That is how Convergence began to become more than a soundtrack.

It became a mirror.

Each song was written for a woman at a different doorway.

The one still pretending she is fine.
The one starting to feel the crack.
The one grieving what she tolerated.
The one ready to come home.

I did not want to make music that told women what to feel.

I wanted to make music that gave them permission to feel what was already there.

Because sometimes a song reaches the body before the truth can reach the mouth.

That is what this music is.

A way back into the room of yourself.
