As a Friona graduate and Registered Nurse for over 10 years, my heart has always been rooted in serving others and pouring back into the community that raised me.

Healthcare opened doors in my life that I never imagined — from working in emergency medicine to building KO Hydration & Wellness right here at home. Nursing didn’t just give me a career… it gave me purpose, leadership, and the ability to impact lives every single day.

That’s why I’m so proud to announce the launch of the

✨ KO Hydration & Wellness Future Healthcare Leaders Scholarship ✨
Established 2026

Each year, we will award TWO $500 scholarships to graduating Friona High School seniors pursuing a career in healthcare.

Whether it’s nursing, radiology, sonography, EMT, dental, medical school, or any healthcare field — we want to invest in the next generation who will one day care for our families and our community.

This scholarship isn’t just about academics.
It’s about leadership.
It’s about compassion.
It’s about heart.

If you are a senior planning to enter the medical field, applications will be available through the Friona High School office. These will be due April 30, 2026.
