As we head into the holiday season, many of us start spending more time around the table—sharing meals, catching up with loved ones, and enjoying all the festive treats that come with this time of year. It’s no surprise that this season is also when a lot of people feel like they “fall off the wagon” with their healthy habits… but it doesn’t have to be that way.
You can enjoy the holidays and still feel good in your body. You can savor your family’s favorite dishes, share a cocktail or two at a gathering, and soak in every moment—while still making choices that support your health and energy.
A few simple, realistic tips to help you stay on track without missing out:
✨ Portion with intention. Fill your plate with what you truly want, but start with smaller servings—you can always go back for more if you’re still hungry.
✨ Hydrate first. Drink plenty of water throughout the day (and between meals). We often mistake thirst for hunger, especially during busy or social days.
✨ Lighten up your cocktails. Try diluting wine or spirits with sparkling water, choose lower-sugar mixers, or alternate each drink with a glass of water.
✨ Check in with your body. Pause mid-meal to notice how you feel—satisfied, still hungry, or already full?
✨ Move gently. A walk after a big meal or taking the stairs a few extra times keeps your body active without feeling like a chore.
This season doesn’t have to be about restriction OR overindulgence—it can simply be about balance, awareness, and giving yourself permission to enjoy what truly matters. You deserve to feel good throughout the holidays, not start over once they’re done. 🌟
