Dear 2025,
I’ll be honest, I didn’t particularly like you, but you needed to happen.

This year I faced old hurts, actually felt them, and processed many of them. Healing really does come in layers. It doesn’t all feel nice but needs to happen.
Harry Hatcher Thank you for being my rock, my safe space, for listening, and holding me through tears for a lot of it. You are the most amazing gift of this lifetime.
There are strangers to thank too. Angels that have a face but no name that peacefully reminded me of who I am. God-sent for sure!
Which brings me to my word of the year.

God gave me this in a worship set weeks ago. You know those moments when someOne is so close you can smell em, well I smelt Him. It was a mix of nostalgia and warmth, a sweet masculine musk with a hint of an old book. Oh to be in that place forever! For now though, on this side of heaven, it’s a season to be intentional with my One. I have a Father-Spirit-Son who are One. I have my amazing husband who the Lord has braided me with to make One. And I am One person trying to make a difference in a big world.

So for 2026 I am expectant for more “nuggets” with the Lord where He reveals His character in my morning time with Him. I am expectant for what the Lord is crafting in and through my marriage, One with him in strength and light. And I am expectant, that this One woman will continue to make a difference.
I’ve seen a lot happen, one hug at a time, so for 2026, though I’m not sure what it looks like or what the Lord has in store… here’s what I do know and my prayer for you.

Chains are falling and healing is coming for the things you don’t talk about. I know He is working for your good. I know there is more to come, far more ahead than behind.
Keep serving your audience of One.
Keep taking the unseen steps of faith.
He has already gone before you, He is beside you, and He’s got your back.
