When your hormones are out of whack and your metabolism is broken, you store fat no matter what. I've seen it with a number of clients and the first thing we focus on is nutrition + activity + consistency.

I DON'T restrict and I don't give them a fancy quick fix pill. {please stop taking those. You will thank me later😉}. I lay the foundation with nutrition to help balance them naturally. ✨

DETOX- most of the time this can take place naturally BUT depending on what you have in your body, you need to follow a detox protocol.✨

I looked at the weather and I freaked out a bit (23 degrees) but then I revisited my goals and realized there will always be circumstances trying to hold me back. ✨ Laced them up. ✔️ Put on some warmer clothes. ✔️ CRUSHED 4 miles! 🎉. NO RESTRICTIONS . . .

You've heard this before and we all know that the better choices we make the better we feel but I'm also all about balance.

You shouldn't punish yourself with an extra workout because you had an extra glass of wine or cookie. That's what I love about coaching the FASTer Way. We enjoy the whole food approach but also enjoy 🍷 all while leaning out and building muscle. If you’re a client of mine you know wine is my love language but I do have limitations. (Side note: I gave it up for January. What was I thinking. 🤪)

But anyways, we can't enjoy life eating salads for every meal. That's just nonsense. It’s all about BALANCE.

I am sharing my 80/20 eating habits in my new FASTer Way group with full transparency and it’s not too late to join (link in bio).

Even with some treats, I am able to stay on track with my results, because I plan for it. It's time to enjoy life and follow a plan that makes you feel successful while getting shredded abs and leaning out. Hang tight because what I’m about to say is HUGE! Ok I might be exaggerating buts it’s kinda huge! 😉 There are 3 essential features of implementing and maintaining a healthy hormone balance.

✨Mindset
✨Self tracking
✨Bonus...Patience

Are you surprised that it sounds this simple? It may sound simple, but when you are exhausted do you think you’re in the headspace to do any of the above? I wasn’t. 🤪

When you are only seeing the weight go up are you really ready to set goals? Some people throw in the towel because they feel they’ve tried every plan out there but what they don’t realize is that they need their own customized plan. We are all unique. What works for me right now is not a plan I would give to someone in their early 30’s. 💯

✨I’ve been there. This photo is there. 😩I’m 10lbs over and feel so defeated. I needed 2 cups of coffee in the afternoon to get through. I cried over stupid s**t. I felt like a failure especially since I’ve been around fitness my entire life.
