Today is the day!

We are back!

Wow, that took much longer than we anticipated. We have been dealing with the leak and flood since April 1st. Not exactly a good April Fools’ joke, if you ask me, lol. The past six months have been incredibly challenging for me as a small business owner. Managing insurance, landlords, contractors, and numerous other people while trying to keep daily operations running has been exhausting. The pressure to make sure my employees were paid throughout the closure. The anxiety of bringing our customers back is very real. I am deeply thankful for all the offers of assistance from friends and family. I was truly surprised by the offers of help even random customers, whom we barely knew, to help out. I will always be grateful. It genuinely took a community to get the shop back up and running. A huge thank you to my parents for their unwavering support and incredible help. To my employees, thank you for enduring the closure and help putting the shop back together. I also want to express my gratitude to my adopted moms for the long hours spent decorating and preparing this past week. Now, it’s time to conquer the cookie world! Year 8, here we go! ❀️πŸͺ

Big Toe Makes BIG GLUTE!!!

"SAY WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHATTT?!?!?!"

When we walk, jog or run we are supposed to use our glutes to "push" us into our next step. With each step you take, I should see that your stride allows you to extend at the HIP, ANKLE, & KNEE.

FACT: If it DOESN'T allow this, it is more than likely the fault of your BIG TOE.

If your BIG TOE can't extend to allow you to push off, then your ankle, knee, and hip won't want to. It is almost as if the BIG TOE talks to the rest of our body.

You have a BIG PROBLEM if: From a standing or sitting position, you can't actively lift your big toe (without liting the other toes) from the ground with the muscles of your foot. This tells us you don't have the strength.

You have a BIGGER PROBLEM if; You can't bend over and use your fingers to lift your big toe up to about 75 degrees. This tells us you don't have mobility.

The sad thing is that your BRAIN will not care. It will find a new way to move and kind of forget butt does more than give you a cushion to sit on.
