I am one lucky girl. I wish I could tag every friend one by one, and I wish I had a photograph to document each act of kindness that has been shown and continues to be shown on a daily basis. I am so grateful for my tribe. Texts, meals, school carpools, hugs for my boys, my work tribe, friends who not only drove in for, but signed up for New Year's Eve in PJ's, friends who remind me daily that after every storm there is a rainbow.... My sister who was my very first friend, all the way to a new friend I made a couple weeks before came for an extended visit, have overwhelmed me with their generosity. 🙏🏻❤️
While things aren't "normal", my health is improving... shared her experience (linked below) and I can so relate. It's worth a watch. No matter how "good or bad" of a case a person has, I think there has to be some takeaways. For me, a couple takeaways... rest is essential for optimal health. My -Covid19 self was not good at resting. Learning to rest, not only physically, but in all areas of life is essential.
Another would be quality over quantity. I don't have the tirelessness I once had. While each day is better, quality time with the boys has been good. They are doing GREAT, and I am so grateful.
stole my love of coffee and it has been replaced with hot tea. Weird to say the least. Turns out hot tea pairs nicely with my love of books. Who knew? 🤷🏻♀️ Anyone need a a Nespresso machine? 😉☕️ {sigh 😂} Text me if so, I'll leave it on the porch for you... if I can remember. 🙈
