She didn't know what she didn't know... None of us did ...

For over a decade my friend, Joanie, worked for her local school district as a Janitor. She started having some breathing and health issues which led her to learning about toxins in home cleaning products and personal care products.

These pictures are from a weekend retreat I hosted in 2010. Each woman enjoyed 3 days learning healthy lifestyle and healing techniques. They grew personally, rejuvenated with wonderful hands on essential oils therapies, and replenished with juicing, healthy shakes and soups.

I remember this weekend vividly #1 because I got in a car accident with a deer, and #2 Joanie gave her life to Christ while on my massage chiropractic table.

I didn't know it, but Joanie only had a few years left on this earth before she would be taken too soon from Cancer. Her body would be riddled with it in the end and it was most likely growing in her while on my table.

I full heartedly know that the chemicals she handled for years as a Janitor and in her home before she knew better were a part of her illness.

Friend, I am passionate about seeing you live the healthiest life you can. BODY, MIND, and SPIRIT. I share this story because I honestly care about you.

Hey friends, I apologize I have been Missing in Action over here on my Page for more than a year.

No excuses except a little frustration with FB and a lot of focusing on my family and my health.

In the past year I have ramped up the self care and got my habits for health back on track.

I am feeling better than I have in decades, maybe ever.

More energy, more patience, more strength, more endurance mentally and physically, more emotional balance, more deeper connections, more, more more and better better better.

Although this journey wasn't easy. God truly was and is stretching and growing me.

I am so glad I stepped up to His Challenge.

So if you want to stick around I will be focusing here on this page on Faith, a Fit Body and Mind, and I will share a little bit about what I call Victory Journeys. (Some my own and some others)

I promise to give you some value and simple steps every week as well as a little bit of fun.

Where are all my NURSES 👩‍⚕️ and Hospital Workers 👨‍⚕️ out there?

I have gained a deeper appreciation 🙏🏻 for you all these past weeks. Especially you ICU or night shift workers. WOW! you all are SUPER HEROS.

Our health care workers need some ❤️ love, appreciation, and kindness. They are tired and run down from this crazy 18 months. All the changes, all the work, all the people.

Many have stepped out of the profession because it was just too much. While others are coming in because of the need.

I met nurses lately who have been doing their job for 28+ years. Nurses who travel 🚗 from place to place wherever there is a need for their help. I met some health care workers who have been working less than a year.

Their reasons for doing what they do. Some it was a financial need of a steady job, some the love of people, some the love of the emergency and saving lives.

I understand that hospitals and health care professionals are not perfect, but let’s have some grace with the hard job and difficult work they have faced recently.

I may not agree with everything, but it’s important to give honor where honor is due.

Did you know Essential oils can help calm emotions around traumatic events?

Did you know there is a book that provides healing for the most troubled soul?

2 years ago I got to be part of a Service team that helped to bring skill development and essential oil wellness care to these beautiful widows in the rural Part of Buyengo Uganda. Most walked hours to meet up at this building.

My friend and colleague Jennifer Strickland
has been in Uganda for 3 weeks now traveling and being a 1 woman Service team to more than 75 orphans and staff and to these dear widows.

She has traveled there fearlessly many times since 2016 when she was called to create a Ministry to help an Orphanage that was starving. She and others did just that.

But society turned their head on another group. A group of widowed women who were middle aged but look decades older because of their difficult lives.

Jennifer has never forgotten them. This trip a donor gave so they were able to purchase beautiful Bibles in the widows native language. They were so very happy. I know there will be great Joy and Freedom from this.

Jennifer is developing the Widows Empowerment program to get support partners to help sustain these women that society has forgotten.

"Village Widows Loving Oils

We did widow interviews so we can set up our empowerment program and connect them individually with support partners through our US nonprofit. We knew we would have to ask difficult questions into a painful past. I pulled out the essential oils I had with me.. Valor and Peace & Calming. These ladies love our oils. They readily put them to use before we began their interviews.

Moses is our Welfare staff member. He is a quiet, precious soul. He showed each of the ladies how to use the oil and they breathed in deeply on their own several times, then rubbed it onto their necks and over their heart.

FUNDRAISER--This week I am hosting a special Essential Oils Made Simple Class to help raise money for two single moms that recently got COVID and lost their incomes.

The class will be recorded or you can take it live Tuesday 8/24/21 at 7pm CDT.

You can help me by attending and promoting the class. There is no formal tuition charge but we ask current oily friends donate $5 and all proceeds from sales will got to these women.

One of the moms was hospitalized this week and just put on a ventilator Saturday 8/21/21.

Please pray for these women and all those hurting. The power of prayer can move mountains. The women's names are Sabrina and Cindy. They are both boy moms.

Sabrina works very hard cleaning homes, painting and doing odd jobs for people in her community. She has a giving heart and loves the Lord. She blessed us by introducing us to our church. Two of her sons are out of the house on their own and her youngest is still in his early teens. Please pray that he stays strong and healthy.

Cindy is another hard worker who is an independent contractor therapist for our school systems. Her son is 10 years old. She had a heart attack in January of 2020 and is unfortunately the one on the ventilator right now.

Each of these women's monthly financial needs including groceries and everything is $1500 or less a month. Our goal would be to raise at least $5000 dollars to help cover their lost income, cushion their recovery, medical bills, and possible rehabilitation.

OILY FRIENDS HELP: One of the moms, Sabrina, is very open to using Essential oils and knows about Thieves and Thieves Cleaner, but like many single moms she puts herself last on the list for wellness.

We have stocked her up with supplies for the next week or so but if anyone can help with things like NingXia Red, Thieves Lozengers, Thieves, RC, Breath Again, Raven, Peppermint, Immunpro--really any Young Living product would help support her journey back to Wellness and keeping her there.

Message me for the address to send oily goodies too.
