TapRoots Yoga with Micayla is a way to connect with friends, family and the community through yoga and local events! Hello! Tap into your roots :)

My name is Micayla and I am a local Plymouthian. I received my 200 - Hour Transformational Yoga Teacher Certification at Sanctuary Studios with Michelle Fleming in August 2015. During the school year, I work as a speech and language pathologist at Plymouth South High School. I would love to use this page as a bridge or resource to provide you with updates on my class at Sanctuary Studios, classes on the lawn at Bramhall's Country Store, yoga events that pop up throughout the year and other local food/event opportunities. The idea to start this page stems from a strong desire to provide and support opportunities to bring the community together in a healthy way. My goal is to increase awareness about our bodies and connection to each other, through information about movement, local food and community involvement.

Kidz Yoga Friends! Due to the weather we will have to cancel Kidz Yoga this Saturday (tomorrow) at 11:00 AM at Bramhall's Country Store. Hopefully the weather will be in our favor for next Saturday! Enjoy your rain day ☔️

Awesome group today at Bramhall's Country Store Kidz Yoga! We practiced relaxation by breathing with flowers from the garden, held poses in yoga dance freeze, pretended to walk like different animals, chased bubbles, talked about what we like about ourselves and tasted some juicy local peaches from C.N. Smith Farm Inc. These little yogis had a fabulous morning.

Friday morning adult vinyasa and Saturday morning Kidz Yoga are cancelled this week. Come hang out next week at Bramhall's Country Store for 9am yoga Wed & Fri and Kidz Yoga Saturday @ 11!

Kidz Day at Bramhall's Country Store yesterday was so much fun! We got to sing along with Albo's Music Room, listen to a story, hoop, play and do some yoga all in one day ... Kidz Yoga will continue to happen every Saturday at 11:00 AM at Bramhall's on the lawn!

Exciting news! Adult Vinyasa Flow donation-based classes will be held Bramhall's Country Store Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9:00 AM. The first session will be this Wednesday June 21st and Friday June 23rd. Classes will be held inside the older 18th century side of the store among beautiful photographs and antiques. Enjoy fresh cold brew or hibiscus tea after class 🌺 Can't wait!
