Welcome to Gainesville Doula Network. We are a doula community here to serve Gainesville families as they navigate pregnancy, birth and postpartum. A big part of doula care is helping our clients know local resources as their families grow. From lactation education, physical therapy or nutrition we want to know who’s in our community as we start the year. Please put your business or organization name in the comments so we can let our clients know you are here to support them.

Doula tip today: essentials oils are commonly found in a doula bag. We carry these for many reasons here are just a few; peppermint oil helps with nausea, orange and geranium together rubbed on an aching muscle or crampy back can bring pain relief, lavender, rose or camomile help with anxiety and Cleary Sage may help keep labor going. A room not smelling bad to a laboring mother can be a big deal for her comfort when so many discomforts are out of her control.
