Our recent paper on epidemiology of occupational hazards and injuries among fishermen at Tanji fishing site got published with SAGE’s Environmental Health Insights. This study found high prevalence of OSH hazards and injuries among fishermen, highlighting critical aspects for safety regulatory services for policy consideration. Our 9th MPH & MSPH Graduate Seminar Lecture Series with Prof Justice Moses K Aheto, a visiting scholar from University of Ghana School of Public Health was very successful. It was absolutely a thought provoking lecture that initiate series of new line of thinking towards improving the health of public especially the vulnerable groups.
