January is Mentorship Month, and it matters more than we realize.
Mentorship doesn’t just shape the next school year or career step, it shapes lives for decades. Research shows that more than half of adults credit their mentors with directly influencing their long-term success, with an even greater impact for youth from marginalized backgrounds.
At its core, meaningful mentorship creates belonging, builds confidence, supports mental health, and opens doors to opportunity. When adults show up by listening, accepting, and believing in young people, they help shape who those young people become.
Be that person. Become a mentor today 👉 check out our website to fill out a form or give us a call.

As we step into a new year, we’re choosing intentions over resolutions.
Intentions give us space to grow, reflect, and move forward with purpose — not pressure. Here’s to small steps, mindful choices, and meaningful change in the year ahead.

The holiday season is full of bright moments, but it can also stir up pressure, big emotions, and a sense of being stretched thin. That’s why our Clinical Director, Tonya, teamed up with NAMI Hall County to offer supportive guidance on navigating this time of year.
Whether it’s giving yourself permission to feel what you’re feeling, sticking to grounding routines, creating healthy limits, offering kindness to others, or leaning on your support system; simple, intentional choices can make the season feel more manageable.
Wishing you steady breaths, meaningful connections, and pockets of peace in the weeks ahead.

This week during Advent, our students have been reflecting on joy, love, and hope. ✨
We were grateful to spend time with Grace and Worship Arts band members Barbara and Omari Yassa and Elysse Gwyn, who shared Christmas and worship songs with and for our students. Their time and talent made this week even more meaningful for our Center Point community.

It’s a staggering reality: nearly 40% of high school students report persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness. Behind that number are real young people who need connection, understanding, and support.
Parents, mentors, and our community play a powerful role. Listening without judgment, checking in consistently, creating safe spaces to talk, and modeling healthy coping can make a meaningful difference. Small moments of support add up.
At Center Point, we’re committed to standing with students and building a community that sees them, hears them, and helps them feel less alone. Together, we can support their well-being and their future.
