New Year Abundance & Clearing Ritual (Simple + Powerful)
🌙 Best Time
• New Year’s Day (anytime)
• Or the first meal of the year
• Can also be done on the New Moon

🕯️ What You’ll Need
• Black-eyed peas (cooked)
• Greens (collards, mustard, kale, or spinach)
• Optional: pork, smoked turkey, or plant-based alternative
• Cornbread (optional)
• A white or green candle
• A bowl of water
• A moment of quiet

🌀 Step 1: Clear the Old Year (2–3 minutes)
Before eating, place one hand over your heart and one over the food.
Say (or adjust to your own words):
“I release what no longer serves me from the past year.
I honor the lessons, the ancestors, and the path behind me.
I clear space for what is meant for me now.”
Take 3 deep breaths.

🌱 Step 2: Set the Intention
Light your candle.
Say:
“As I eat, I receive abundance, protection, and forward movement.
May my home be full, my path be clear, and my spirit be steady.
What is meant for me finds me with ease.”
Visualize:
• Coins (peas)
• Money flowing (greens)
• Golden opportunity (cornbread)
• Progress and strength (pork or grounding protein)

🍽️ Step 3: Eat Mindfully
• Eat slowly for the first few bites
• Chew with awareness
• Think of one thing you’re calling in (peace, money, clarity, love, healing)
No phones. Just presence.

After eating, touch the bowl of water and say:
“It is done. I walk forward into this year protected and provided for.”
