‼️IMPOSTER?‼️
Imposter syndrome causes individuals to experience feelings of anxiousness and internal stress regarding their positions and merit in the spaces they occupy, despite performing well externally. It leads people to feel like “frauds” or “phonies” and doubt their abilities
Both men and women can equally suffer from imposter syndrome, which can stem from a sense of inadequacy in the environment despite objectively being competent. It can also stem from anxiety, depression, or other mental illness.
Imposter syndrome can be found as a feature of inefficacy, which is a dimension of burnout.
