VOTE FOR TASHA WYANT-GASKINS for the Ohio Valley Symphony's 2021 Maestro for a Moment

Dear friends and supporters of the arts:

I love this community with every fiber of my being. For years, I’ve proudly cheered for the youth in our community. From the sidelines, I’ve proudly watched those youth grow into our community’s leaders, due in large part to the support and guidance they receive from countless individuals within our region.

One such group that provides support to our youth is The Ohio Valley Symphony. Not only has the Symphony brought music to our community for more than 30 years, but its members also provide our youth with programs through the county school systems. The Symphony’s violin string programs, children’s chorus, and music lessons help give kids confidence and critical skills that will help them flourish into adulthood.

Likewise, Pleasant Valley Hospital provides incredible services to our community and helps keep our children and our entire community healthy and strong. As a Family Nurse Practitioner and believer of PVH, I jumped at the opportunity to be a part of a fund raiser that would give back to our community.

I am humbled and honored to be able to represent Pleasant Valley Hospital and the Ariel Opera House, home to The Ohio Valley Symphony, for the “2021 Maestro for a Moment.” I feel so blessed to be a part of this cause because PVH and the Symphony give so much to our community.

As one of three candidates who are competing for the “Maestro for a Moment” position, I will have the unique opportunity to conduct The Ohio Valley Symphony in a holiday performance of Sleigh Ride on Saturday, December 4, 2021. The candidate that raises the most funds will win the honor of conducting the orchestra. I feel that if I can give back to this community, it is my privilege to work hard for both of these causes and my hope is that you will consider lending your support as well.
