Our adventure to Moody Gardens was a great success! Claire was pumped to run around some new scenery 😂 The Rainforest Pyramid definitely had me missing the real deal in CR 🌴

It’s wild to think a year ago I wasn’t even pregnant, and now we have a babe who’s close to walking and babbling like crazy. So much has changed in such a short time. Doing my best to soak it all in ❤️

Full-Body Strength + Cardio Burn 🔥 (Without the Burnout)

Fun and effective way to interval train 💪
* 5 strength moves
* Each one gets a 15-second cardio finisher
* Repeat every combo twice before moving on
* 2 minutes of rest/active rest between rounds
* ~30 minutes total (10 rounds total)

Some interval trainings put you on your A$$, but this one had me feeling pretty jazzy all day 😎

I didn’t label the moves in the video (just the time), and I’m naming them the best I can 😂

Here’s the breakdown:
1. Alternating Lunges
→ Split Jumps (15 sec)
2. Chest Press
→ Push-Ups with Hand Jump (15 sec)
3. Squat to Press
→ Burpee + Wide Squat Jump (15 sec)
4. Deadlift + Row
→ High Knees (15 sec)
5. Hanging Leg Lifts
→ L-Hang Hold (15 sec)

So far, this might be my favorite age 🤍

Lots of park time and long walks, trying new foods, and sleeping more independently (which means better workouts for me 🙌).

Tons of laughs with her favorite funny guy, aka, Papa. Claire has been busy growing the most beautiful super-blond hair, learning all about soccer, loving the slide, and discovering the magic of sweet potatoes between her fingers.

Feeling extra grateful today after finally getting in my first lift in five days. 💪🤩

Parenting is honestly the hardest “training phase” I’ve ever been in—new skills, broken sleep, minimal recovery… my HRV is 💩 and my resting heart rate is up, but my body is doing the best it can in this season.

I’m learning to “choose my hard,” and lean into the things that feel challenging now so they’ll feel easier later. That said—sleep training has me feeling so anxious…but this mama bear needs her sleep. 😅🧸

And if you’re also in a season of choosing the path with the most resistance—whatever that looks like for you—I’m cheering you on. We’re all getting stronger in ways we can’t always see yet. 💛

And hey… if you’re looking for something “hard” to do, I challenge you to add burpees to your next workout. 😜

I didn’t wake up motivated today.
But motivation was never the point.

What matters is that every time I show up — whether it’s a perfect session or a messy one — I’m adding compounded interest toward my long-term goals.

Habits build lives.
Reps build resilience.
Consistency builds confidence.

So even on the days you don’t feel like it… especially on those days… make the deposit. Your results are built on repetition, not perfection.

Monday mindset: keep investing in yourself 💰💪

Claire’s almost 3 weeks old and already crushing life! And I’d say we’re doing a pretty solid job at this whole “new parent” thing too 😜

✔️ She passed her birth weight by 2 weeks—no formula needed.
🛁 We learned (the messy way) that bath time is still a work in progress.
☀️ We’ve made it outside for a little sunshine every day—gotta build up her base tan 👙 
😅 Somehow, we’re doing it all on broken sleep… and slowly starting to find our rhythm in this whole new normal.
💪 We’ve stuck to our non-negotiables: brushing our teeth ✅ showering daily ✅ and keeping up with our usual high-protein diet… with a touch of chocolate. JK, it’s a BOAT LOAD of chocolate. 🍫

Wouldn’t want to be in this wild, beautiful blur with anyone else 💕

Happy First Father’s Day to the guy who’s been running on snuggles, 3am cry sesh’s, and maybe 2 hours of sleep — and still manages to be the calm in our little storm.

You’ve stepped into this new role like you were made for it. Claire’s 2nd favorite spot is already on your shoulder, your burping game is elite, and let’s be honest… you’ve changed 99% of the diapers without blinking—real MVP!

One day she’ll be cheering you on from the sidelines and chasing you down the mountain — but for now, she’s perfectly content soaking up snuggles from her favorite papa. We love you more than words ❤️
