“Our neurodivergent kids are not distractions from the presence of God. They are invitations to see Him in a different way.”

Meet Shifty, an 11-year-old with ADHD and autism who doesn’t just attend church… she inhabits it. With movement, joy, noise-canceling headphones, and a whole lot of heart.

Worship (like other activities) doesn’t look the same for everyone and that’s okay. God’s design includes different brains, different bodies, and different ways of showing up.

On National Motivation & Inspiration Day, we’re reminded that real encouragement isn't self-made. It's God-given.

Our true source of strength, hope, and renewal is God and His Living Word.

Scripture grounds us when motivation feels thin and lifts us when we’re weary. Whether you’re facing a new challenge or simply trying to keep going, God’s promises remain steady and sure as we walk forward into the new year.

As we step into a new year, we pause with gratitude for what has been and hope for what’s ahead.

The turning of the calendar doesn’t erase our struggles, but it does remind us that God’s mercies are new every morning and His grace meets us right where we are—mind, body, and spirit.

As you welcome the year ahead, may you find rest for your soul, clarity for your mind, and strength for each step forward.

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning.”
— Lamentations 3:22–23

From all of us at Christian Family Solutions, may the year ahead be filled with peace, healing, and hope. ✨

As the year comes to a close, reflection can be a healthy way to process both the highs and the hard moments. Not to dwell on the challenges, but to grow from them.

Also take a few moments to identify any habits, patterns, or burdens that it might be time to leave behind in 2025.

As we prepare for a new year, may we reflect honestly, receive God’s grace fully, and move ahead with hope.

The holidays aren’t one-size-fits-all. For some people, they bring joy. For others, they surface stress, grief, or exhaustion.

Slow down, breathe, and remember what truly matters this season! This reflection is worth a read (and a share) for anyone who needs permission to let this season be gentler than expected.

“Although I may have left God for a long time, He never left me.”

This is why our Christian mental health ministry exists.

Professional counseling. Space to heal. And gentle reminders of God’s steady presence.

We’re grateful to walk alongside people as they find clarity, calm, and their way back to hope.

If Christmas feels heavy this year, remember the first Christmas wasn’t loud or polished either.

Jesus came to the poor (Mary & Joseph), the overlooked (shepherds), the outsider/foreigner (wise men), and the weary (Simeon and Anna).

This season still belongs to you.

Our Story

As Christians, we have found such joy and peace in God that we desire to share it with others. We not only want to bring the Good News of salvation to those individuals who are of our faith, but we also want to do as the Lord has commanded us in Galatians 6:10, saying: “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people.”

This is the reason for which Christian Family Solutions (formerly referred to as Wisconsin Lutheran Child & Family Service) was first established—to do good to all people.

On July 13, 1965, the Board of Directors filed the Articles of Incorporation for Wisconsin Lutheran Convalescent Home, Inc. (WLCH). The Green Tree Gardens Convalescent and Nursing Home was purchased, and WLCH began operating the facility on August 1, 1965.

In January of 1966, it was decided that the WLCH was in need of expanded services not only to accommodate more patients and residents, but also to provide social services.
