We will gather the 3rd Sunday of every month to fellowship over dinner, a brief topical talk, small group discussion, and prayer. We hope you can join us as we seek to encourage and equip one another to live out our faith through our career in medicine!

This Sunday, Dr. Rohith Jesudas will share a brief talk on the topic of "How Faith Interacts with Daily Medical Practice".

We are excited to announce Mitchel S. Godat, DDS, MS as our 2025 Fall Banquet keynote speaker! Dr. Godat will be speaking on the topic "A Calling into Action", particularly sharing about his experience of starting the initiative of Mid-South Mission of Mercy a decade ago. Since 2016, Mid-South Mission of Mercy has provided over 12 million dollars worth of dentistry to more than 16,000 patients in the greater Memphis area with the help of more than 16,000 volunteers. We are eager and excited to hear this compelling story!

Join us for our September Equipping Event on Thursday, September 11th at 6:30pm!

These events are gatherings for Christian healthcare professionals in Memphis to hear about and discussion how faith motivates, influences, and impacts their careers in healthcare.

We are eager to have Jeremy Slone, MD, MPH as our speaker for the evening. He will share his reflections on his cross cultural medical career that spans the globe from Papua New Guinea to Africa to Memphis.

Our three D2 (soon to be D3s this fall) have finished up their mission trip to El Salvador! Thank you for your prayers and financial support! The Lord provided all they needed through generous donors and a scholarship.

Geovany and Jessica are back home in the States while Jose is spending extended time with his family in El Salvador. Jose is from the same area where this team got to serve! How awesome is that?!

Please pray for their rest and reflection. The team was able to serve hundreds of patients while working alongside a great church and local volunteers. These students were blown away by the opportunity. We are incredibly thankful to get to send students to other countries to care for the physical and spiritual needs of others through healthcare!

We are excited to have these 2nd year dental students seeking to participate in a healthcare mission trip to El Salvador this summer through CMDA's Global Health Outreach! Last year, we sent three 3rd year dental students, and this year, we are sending three more to the same location! The trip is June 14th-22nd to Santa Ana, El Salvador and hosted by Oasis de Gracia church.

Each of these students are fundraising to cover the cost of their trip. We would love for our CMDA Memphis network of healthcare professionals to help them meet their goals. If you are interested in supporting these students financially, you can visit their donation pages listed below.

Join us in praying for these students as they prepare to go. Medical/dental mission trips like these can be extremely transformative for these students in their training years. We are eager to see how the Lord grows them and uses them through this experience.

Praise the Lord for raising up Christian healthcare students and mobilizing them to the nations for His glory!

Join us on Thursday, April 3rd for our Equipping Event! Dr. Bill Geiger, resident of Knoxville and CMDA TN State Representative, will be coming to Memphis to share about his experience with discipleship amongst doctors. We are eager to discuss the unique opportunity that doctors have to live out the Great Commission of making disciples in the context of their relationships with other doctors, healthcare workers, fellows, residents, and students. All healthcare professionals at any level of training are welcome to attend. We hope you can join us!

We are at a projected 78% of our targeted goal of $150,000 for this fiscal year. We need $32,000 by July 1st to reach 100% of our goal. The breadth and extent of our ministry work is dependent on these remaining funds. We are inching towards meeting our goal and we need your help!

Join us on Wednesday, February 5th at 6:30pm as Bob Mason, Executive Director of Medical Strategic Network, leads us through the topic of "Assessing & Addressing the Spiritual Needs of Your Patients".

Bob Mason, MDiv has been training healthcare professionals and students in whole person care for over 25 years. He does this as the Executive Director of Medical Strategic Network, as adjunct faculty at Southern California medical school and as the Director of Spiritual Care Training at a family medicine residency. Bob has lectured on this topic at UCLA, Ohio State, Howard, LSU, Georgetown, USC, Harvard, Morehouse, Washington University, and many others. He founded the Whole Person Care Preceptorship which has attracted students from across the US and 10 countries. He is married to Dianna, has 2 adult children, and 3 grandchildren. He enjoys fitness and lives in Southern California.
