Alright well, I guess this is what God's plan had in store for me today 🦓🛻

Driving my zebra across town in the back seat of my truck….😳🤷🏼‍♀️😆

However….I couldn't think of a more appropriate and humorous way to announce that we're relocating the nonprofit!!!

Don't fret, we're still fully operational and accepting ESA families 🙌🏻

On a lighter note, I'm seriously regretting not investing in a trailer when I had the chance 🤦🏼‍♀️

We’ve got some exciting news to share🎉

Around here, when someone yells “Stella!”, we already have to ask…�“Kid Stella or horse Stella?” 😂
This has been an ongoing joke for years, and kid Stella has officially been over it for just as long. So naturally, God decided to make the joke even funnier.�Because Stella means “star,” and apparently two aren’t enough 🌟
We are trusting the Lord’s sense of humor and we are incredibly grateful for every star He places in our care ✨🐴🤍

Drumroll Please……We’d love to welcome our third Stella…who has graciously taken on the title Horse Stella #2, because clarity is overrated. So let the Stella jokes continue! Sorry (not sorry) Kid Stella😜🌟🐴

We’ve been a little quiet the past few days because our family has been battling the flu 🤒
While the humans rest and recover, we want to reassure everyone that the horses are healthy, happy, and well cared for 🐴💛
Even on sick days, God is good. So we thought we’d still show up with a little joy—cue the corny horse jokes. Laughter is a gift from the Lord, and sometimes it’s the best medicine.
Thank you for the prayers and grace. More farm moments coming soon 🤍

Hi, I’m Spy.

God made me big, gentle, and slightly goofy on purpose.
I’m here to help… but also to make friends, accept treats, and soak up as much human attention as possible.
(Truly, it’s a calling.)
If you show up calm, I’ll stand with you.
If you’re nervous, I’ll come say hi anyway—because sometimes connection comes before confidence.
I might wander off for a minute, but I always come back. God’s good like that.
I’m really good at noticing feelings, teaching patience, and reminding humans to slow down and be present—because that’s usually where God is working.
Also, snacks and kind scratches are basically my love language.

Through intentional time with horses, students grow in confidence, emotional regulation, social skills, and leadership—while learning in a way that honors their God-given design.

Personal space is a human idea.

Connection is a God idea.

Zariah doesn’t understand boundaries the way we do—she understands relationship. When she reaches for my hands, it’s trust. It’s safety.
In equine-assisted learning, healing begins when we feel seen and secure. God meets us the same way—not at a distance, but up close.

I absolutely love having Blue Sky Group Homes out to the farm. The horses love it too! They get so many treats, brushes, and attention. We always bring out everyone’s favorite, Zariah, at the end of each session 🦓♥️

Today, on International Zebra Day, I can’t keep her hidden any longer 🦓
Meet Zariah—born with a locked stifle and a 25% chance of survival, now almost 7 months old and thriving.
An unexpected blessing and proof that God’s gifts often arrive in ways we never imagine.
