Our specialties include the accurate measurement of the ratios of naturally abundant isotopes of elements such as hydrogen, carbon and nitrogen for food, pharmaceutical, and petroleum producers as well as testing of brewed products such as beer and wine. In order to serve the craft brew industry (and assist those who make such delectable ambrosia), we have launched a brew testing service. Our mission is to provide exceptional quality lab tests at affordable prices.

We have changed our name! We are now Sweetwater Science Labs. Please pardon our dust as we get everything moved over to the new website and new page. We changed in order to show our continuing increase in services and, quite frankly, that we're not on the coast anymore! Our Isotope Ratio Analysis system is now giving us consistent precision. We have ordered new standards to calibrate and should be up and running by August 15!

Well, we said January, and it's almost June, but we are getting there! We have every piece working together and are now balancing the system to obtain consistent data. The beer, wine, and whiskey lab is going strong.

We are almost ready for isotope ratio analysis for honeys, maple syrups/sugars, and other flowering plant sugars! After a long wait rebuilding the spectrometer from the boxes of bolts (literally), we are in the final stages of troubleshooting the system with hopeful operation in the next 2-3 weeks. We had originally tried for next Monday, December 15, but we have to wait on a part to arrive. It may get here in time, fingers crossed! B)

We are open on a slight reduced capacity in a temporary laboratory as of July 9th. Once our new facility is finished, we will post a few snaps as part of our grand reopening!

We are moving during the month of June! Our laboratory will be closed from May 28-June 10 in order for us to scout a new location. We can still receive packages during this time but will not be able to run any analyses on samples received after May 26 until June 10. We will also be closed for one week towards the end of June (and will provide a new shipping address and date of closing/re-opening as soon as the information becomes available!). Thank you for your patience as we relocate to keep our prices affordable!
