The “Kicked Up Kundalini” workshop scheduled for this Friday, 6/24 at Prana in Geneva, has been cancelled. With so many conflicting programs and Summer activities, we look forward to rescheduling this during the Fall season. Apologies for any inconvenience, and please join me at a regular upcoming Kundalini class! (Sundays 10:30 at Prana; Tuesdays 4:15 at Essencia/Wheaton).

We’re heading towards the Summer Solstice — when Summer is celebrated throughout the world! Join us this Friday, 6/17, for a premier event at the Theosophical Society in Wheaton, where we’ll have 4 Gongs in all 4 Corners/Directions: North, South, East, West. Celebrate with us as we usher in Summer Solstice — details are attached.
The following Friday, 6/24, you’ll have a chance to “kick up” your Kundalini practice at Prana Yoga Center in Geneva. Longer posture and meditation work, and extended Savasana with gong. Details are also attached.
As always, Yogi Tea will be served afterward in the spirit of community. Pre-registration is encouraged for either event — just go to the respective website.

Before Sound Healing became more more widely available, the Gong has long been a “staple” in the practice of Kundalini Yoga. When I did my teacher training over 20 years ago, learning to play the Gong was part of that training. At Essencia Yoga Studio in Wheaton, you’ll get to experience the rich tones of my 38” symphonic gong as part of Savasana at each Tuesday’s class (4:15 — 5:30 p.m.).

In addition to that weekly Tuesday experience, I hope you’ll join Jenny Bergold (Jagatjeet Kaur) and me this Sunday at Essencia for a special Sound Immersion Evening! We’ll have two Gongs and Jenny’s array of Crystal and Tibetan Bowls.
