Entresto. Are any of you on it? I’m asking because I’m considering caving and taking it. My heart has gotten significantly weaker in the past month and this is the only medication that has shown effectiveness in heart failure with severely reduced ejection fraction. Mine went from 28% down to 18% in a few weeks and I cannot let it go down any further. I would just like to get some feedback from anyone who has taken it. It’s mostly a blood pressure medication and diuretic and that is why it is dangerous for me to take it because my blood pressure is very low to begin with. If you are using this medication, what kind of side effects (if any) did you experience? Message me directly if you don’t want anyone to know. Thank you!

I have gotten to the point where I wish I felt like s**t all the time!!! Yes. You read that correctly. Here’s why… Because I can get used to something if it is consistent! But this heart failure garbage has zero consistency 😞. Sometimes I’ll feel perfectly normal for an entire day, even a week (very rare). But then feel like death out of nowhere and it last for a day or a week while fluctuating every day. There is zero consistency, but for the most part it is agonizing to the point of tears because of the head pressure and random excruciating abdominal pain (one of many end-stage symptoms). For those who know me, you know I’m a bit of a ma*****st and can find pleasure in pain… but this pain… I’d rather have a wisdom tooth pulled without anything to numb it!!! 🥺

This is not something that I can beat or recover from. But I’m going to keep kicking the can down the road as long as I can!!!

Take care of yourself… some of you will one day realize that health really is wealth and that nothing other than your loved ones and your health matters!!!

Only 1.09 miles today, BUT that’s because I’ve got 2 Instacart deliveries coming back to back. The first one came, I threw it in the refrigerator and rolled out the door! I figured I would roll until the second one said they were done shopping so I took advantage of that little window of time and rolled a quick mile. No breaks other than one quick one because the landscapers were going along the sidewalk that I was going. But other than that I pushed and pushed and pushed from my door back to my door.
I could have told myself I shouldn’t leave because Instacart was coming, but I refuse to make excuses that stop me from my daily roll. If I don’t stick to this the heart failure is going to kill me. On the flipside, if rolling and pushing myself ends up killing me, at least I wasn’t being a lazy s**t and I was trying to do something about it NATURALLY. No stupid fitness shakes or programs, just REAL FOOD AND EXERCISE along with pushing myself around all day long in my manual wheechair.
So all you able body AND wheelchair people out there who wish that they could be in better shape. Get off your freaking ass now and stop with the bulls**t excuses!!!

Imagine this happening to you! This is my friend Gina Schuh. She’s a quadriplegic (same level) like me and is being completely screwed by the Town/City of Gilbert, AZ to the extent of having to tear down her fully wheelchair-accessible house!!! Not only that but they want 18% of her property (possibly up to 30%) to be donated to them for a new roadway!!!
Her house is gone, and she had to pay their construction company $40k to tear it apart! They told her she could re-zone, but now want to classify her as a developer! Now she’s living in a non-accessible rental house while they drag her through a financial nightmare!
