Breast cancer doesn’t just affect the individual, it impacts the entire family.

Cryoablation, a minimally invasive procedure, offers an option that can reduce the physical and emotional disruption often associated with more aggressive treatments. With shorter recovery times and fewer side effects, many patients are able to maintain more stability in their daily lives, which can ease the burden on loved ones and caregivers.

Your care plan should honor your life, your priorities, and the people walking this path alongside you.🧊💙👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Your post-treatment imaging deserves the right eyes.

Cryoablation, a minimally invasive procedure, leaves a different imprint on mammograms and MRIs than traditional surgery. That difference can be misread by radiologists who aren’t familiar with post-Cryoablation images, leading to unnecessary stress or procedures.

I work with my patients to ensure their imaging is reviewed by radiologists who understand what recovery after Cryoablation looks like, so you can move forward with confidence in your care.🧊📈💙

Can lymph nodes be treated with Cryoablation, a minimally invasive procedure?
Answer: In select cases, yes.

When lymph nodes are near the breast and away from critical nerves or blood vessels, Cryoablation may be an option but careful consideration is essential. The anatomy of the underarm is complex, and your safety always comes first.

If you’ve been diagnosed with node-positive breast cancer and want to explore less invasive options, let’s talk about whether Cryoablation might be appropriate for you.

Many women are relieved to learn that Cryoablation, a minimally invasive procedure, doesn’t come with weeks of downtime. In fact, most patients are able to return to physical activity such as walking, lifting, and even strength training far sooner than they would after traditional breast surgery.

This faster recovery isn’t just a convenience, it’s a meaningful way to maintain independence and physical wellness during an already emotional time. Cryoablation offers the chance to keep moving, on your terms.❄️🙌

Traveling for treatment is daunting. However, when it comes to Cryoablation, a minimally invasive breast cancer treatment, many patients from across the U.S. and around the world choose to come to Los Angeles for care and we’re here to make the journey easier.

You’ll be asked to arrive a day before the procedure so we can repeat exams, review your plan, and address any last-minute questions.

After the treatment, you’ll stay for a short follow‑up visit, and then head home with virtual support continuing afterward. We help with logistics, connect you to lodging near our office, and coordinate with your local providers back home.

If you’re considering traveling for treatment, we’d be honored to help guide your travel, stay, and care.

I recently sat down with Dr. Ralph Moss and Ben Moss on The Moss Report to share how Cryoablation, a minimally invasive procedure, is changing what’s possible in breast cancer care.

In this episode, I explain how Cryoablation can offer an effective, non-toxic alternative to traditional surgery and radiation, while also preserving quality of life and providing more flexibility for patients. We also dive into its immune-stimulating potential, in-office treatment options, and the ongoing challenges with insurance coverage.

This conversation reflects more than two decades of dedication to expanding treatment choices and empowering patients. I hope you’ll tune in with the link below!🎙️🧊🩺

Cryoablation, a minimally invasive procedure, may do more than freeze tumors, it may also rally your immune system.🧠❄️

When the tumor is ablated, it releases tumor antigens that can stimulate your immune response, acting similarly to a built-in vaccine. This “cryoimmunotherapy” effect is being explored in oncology as a way to strengthen systemic defenses against cancer, not just locally eradicate it.

While this aspect is still under investigation, pairing Cryoablation with immunotherapy or targeted treatments could elevate both safety and efficacy in patients!

Age doesn’t exclude you from options, sometimes, it opens the door to better ones.

Postmenopausal women with small, hormone-sensitive invasive ductal breast cancers may be ideal candidates for Cryoablation, a minimally invasive treatment.

The slower-growing nature of these cancers, combined with advances in imaging and hormone therapy, make Cryoablation a meaningful option for women looking to avoid surgery, especially when overall health or life stage makes traditional treatment less appealing.

If this sounds like your situation, you deserve to know all of your choices.💬📋

Movement is not just optional, it is part of your healing process.

Cryoablation, a minimally invasive treatment, often allows patients to resume gentle activity within a day or two. This approach helps preserve muscle tone and shoulder mobility, so you can return to the exercises you love more quickly.

Staying active post-treatment supports your physical strength, mental health, and overall recovery. When you’re ready, adapting workouts with lighter weights, slow stretches, or modified yoga can help you rebuild steadily.💪✨

Cryoablation, a minimally invasive treatment, is just one part of a comprehensive approach to breast cancer care. Continued follow-up helps ensure your healing is on track and supports early detection if additional treatment is needed.

After the procedure, follow-up may include:

🔍 Imaging: Mammograms, ultrasounds, and MRIs performed at regular intervals to monitor healing and screen for recurrence.

🧪 Biopsy: A needle biopsy of the treated area may be recommended to confirm complete cancer cell destruction.

Many radiologists are still unfamiliar with interpreting post-cryoablation imaging. For patients, this can lead to delays or unnecessary tests. Dr. Holmes helps bridge that gap by connecting patients with experienced radiologists who understand the nuances of follow-up after Cryoablation.🧊📋🩻
