Cryoablation is a gentle, minimally invasive option for breast cancer treatment. This procedure uses a Cryoprobe to deliver extremely cold temperatures directly to the tumor under imaging guidance. Liquid nitrogen flows through the probe, creating an ice ball that freezes and destroys the cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue nearby.

This precise freeze–thaw cycle is carefully planned and monitored to be both effective and gentle, preserving the natural shape of the breast without general anesthesia or a hospital stay.

The recent FDA approval of the ProSense cryoprobe for breast cancer Cryoablation is an important development in expanding treatment options for qualifying patients. This approval currently applies to women aged 70 and older with low-risk, hormone-sensitive, HER2/neu-negative invasive ductal carcinoma measuring 1.5 cm or less.

Although coverage is limited to hospital-based settings and only includes the technical cost, ongoing studies and future billing code updates aim to increase access and reimbursement across more settings. We’re proud to contribute to this next phase of data collection and care.

Every step matters, and we’re walking it with purpose.

The impact of breast cancer doesn’t end with treatment. For many women, it touches every part of how they feel in their body and in their relationships. Intimacy can feel uncertain, especially when there are changes to appearance or sensation.

Cryoablation offers an approach that helps preserve the natural shape and appearance of the breast, with minimal disruption to how you look or feel in your skin. That can make a real difference in how women experience closeness and navigate relationships during recovery.

Protecting your body doesn’t mean disconnecting from it. For many women, this treatment path helps preserve a deeper sense of self, one that includes softness, strength, and the freedom to stay present with the people they love. 🤍🌿

When you’re facing a breast cancer diagnosis, the last thing you want is to feel like life has to come to a complete halt. Cryoablation offers an option that not only treats the cancer, it also respects your time, your routine, and your sense of self.

Most women are cleared to return to their usual physical activity within just a few days, including walking, getting back to everyday movement, and LIGHT working out. There are no stitches to monitor, no surgical drains to manage, and most patients experience only mild soreness at the treatment site.

That kind of gentle recovery matters. It means you can continue doing the things that bring you strength, whether that is being present with family, staying active, or simply maintaining a sense of normalcy. You shouldn’t have to choose between care and living your life. Cryoablation gives many women the ability to do both.❄️💕

For the right tumors, Cryoablation can be an exceptionally effective option.

This minimally invasive treatment is best suited for tumors that are small (typically under 1.5 cm), low-grade, estrogen-receptor-positive (ER+), and most often found in postmenopausal women. When these criteria are met, the data is compelling, success rates are high, recurrence rates are low, and most patients report high satisfaction with both the experience and the outcome.

That said, patient selection is key. We don’t offer a one-size-fits-all recommendation. Each case is reviewed with care, taking into account tumor biology, breast density, and individual preferences. Our goal is always to help you make an informed decision with a clear understanding of the benefits and limitations of every option available.🔬🩺📊

Cryoablation begins and ends with precision, and that precision starts with imaging. Ultrasound, mammogram, and MRI views guide every stage of care, from diagnosis and probe placement to post-treatment follow-up.

This real-time visualization allows us to treat the exact area needed while preserving surrounding tissue. We specialize in breast imaging and know exactly what to watch for at every step. 🎯🖥️🔍

Cryoablation requires only one tiny incision, no stitches, no drains, and no limitations with bulky bandages or restricted arm movement. Many women are relieved to discover how quickly they’re able to lift their arms and return to daily routines. It is a reminder that care doesn’t have to come at the cost of comfort.🧊🩹✨

Cryoablation, a minimally invasive procedure, offers another unexpected benefit which is fewer disruptions to hormone therapy.

Traditional treatments can sometimes delay or complicate ongoing care plans. With Cryoablation, many women can continue hormone therapy without pause, allowing their overall treatment plan to stay on track and aligned with their goals.

It’s a thoughtful approach, made possible by the precision and minimal recovery time of Cryoablation.
