How often should you get acupuncture? Acupuncture works cumulatively because we are making changes to the nervous system with each treatment: new gene expression and neuroplastic changes. For internal medicine or mental health conditions, 2 treatments per week for the first 3 weeks yeilds the best outcomes according to research and clinical experience.
