March is Multiple Myeloma Awareness Month 💙

Living with Multiple Myeloma can be physically and emotionally challenging. But understanding the disease — and the treatments available — can empower patients and families to navigate the journey with greater confidence, clarity, and support.

Multiple Myeloma is a blood cancer that affects plasma cells in the bone marrow. Symptoms can vary, but often include:

• Bone pain or fractures
• Fatigue or weakness
• Frequent infections
• High calcium levels
• Kidney dysfunction
• Unexplained weight loss or appetite changes

Early recognition of symptoms and open conversations with healthcare providers are so important. While there is currently no cure, advances in treatment — including targeted therapies, immunotherapies, and stem cell transplants — continue to improve quality of life and outcomes for many patients.

During Multiple Myeloma Awareness Month, we stand with patients, survivors, caregivers, and the medical community working tirelessly toward better treatments and a cure.

Let’s spread awareness, encourage early detection, and support those affected. You are not alone. 💙

March is Kidney Cancer Awareness Month 💚
Kidney cancer is often found by chance during imaging for something else—but knowing the signs and understanding your risk factors can help you take control of your health and potentially catch it early.
⚠️ Possible Symptoms to Watch For:
• Blood in the urine
• Persistent pain in the side or lower back
• Unexplained weight loss
• Ongoing fatigue
• A lump or mass in the abdomen or side
• Swelling in the legs or ankles
• Fever not caused by an infection
These symptoms don’t always mean cancer—but they should never be ignored. If you’re experiencing any of these, talk with your healthcare provider.
Early detection matters. Listen to your body, stay informed, and don’t hesitate to advocate for your health.
