To all Carolina Nephrology patients:

1. To check in for appointments and blood draws call the office and remain in your vehicle. Please choose option #1.

2. We will come out to screen you and check your temperature while you are in your car.

3. If no fever we will bring you into the office.

4. If you have a fever we are offering Telehealth Visits and can switch your appointment to a Telehealth Visit while in your car.

5. If you are interested in a Telehealth Visit and are not sure how to do this, please call our office and we can get you set up. It's easy!

Carolina Nephrology is taking the following precautions for the coronavirus:

1. If you have a fever, shortness of breath, or a cough please call the UNC Helpline at 888-850-2684.

2. Upon arrival for your appointment please remain outside the building until we come and get you.

3. There will be no early blood draws prior to your appointment. Blood will be drawn at the time of your appointment.

4. Our office will be open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. We will be closed on Friday's.

Due to COVID 19 our office has a sanitizing protocol in place to include hourly cleaning of public access areas to help prevent the potential spread of any communicable disease.

Carolina Nephrology had a facelift this week...two new heat pumps were installed by ET Ferrell & Son, Inc. This crew did an excellent job! They were very professional and did a great job cleaning everything up when they were done.

Our patients will be happy to know that our waiting room is now warm!

Carolina Nephrology Office will be closed Thursday and Friday Sept. 13 and 14, 2018 due to Hurricane Florence. We will reopen on Monday Sept 17, 2018. We may be closing early on Wednesday the 12th depending on weather conditions. Stay safe, please don't take any chances. Please remember our Telecommunicators, EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement and Lineman personnel who will be working thru out this storm.

Welcome home Col. Edgar Felton Davis who was in the USAF. Col. Davis was shot down 50 years ago over Laos during the Vietnam War. He will finally be laid to rest at Eastern State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro. Members of our community were asked to stand in a moment of silence as he was transferred to Seymour Funeral Home.
