We hope you are doing well.

This is a mass email going out to everyone. We had planned to launch some educational videos about GLP medications and peptides, but unfortunately, social media platforms flagged our content for violating community standards and placed our account under restricted status. So, we’ll be moving forward with YouTube videos instead.

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions:

First, we are able to prescribe controlled substances only within Arizona, in compliance with DEA regulations. There’s no way around this.

Second, we primarily prescribe Wegovy (semaglutide) and Zepbound (tirzepatide). Our compounding pharmacy carries sublingual drops of semaglutide and tirzepatide, while commercial pharmacies carry the pill forms.

Retatrutide is still in clinical trials and has NOT been approved by the FDA. People obtaining this medication are receiving research-grade products, which we do NOT recommend.

For those who have been seeing us for more than a year, it’s time to update your labs. These can be labs obtained through your primary care provider—we just need to update our records. If you have recent labs, please email them to Jeffrey@GetRightArizona.com.

Greetings from GetRight Healthcare,

We want to inform you that, effective immediately, our Family Nurse Practitioner, Jeffrey, will be taking a medical leave to focus on some health issues.

If you currently have orders pending, please rest assured they will be fulfilled. This primarily affects the weight-loss side of our practice, and we do not anticipate this being a permanent situation.

We will also honor any refunds pending, as well as those affected by delays related to our previous billing issues, and fulfill orders as discussed. For patients currently taking medication for ongoing health concerns, we will continue to fill those prescriptions during this time.

Please note that we will not be accepting any new patients, except those who are already scheduled.

We appreciate your understanding as Jeffrey takes the time needed to focus on his health. Should you have any questions regarding your care, we are happy to assist you.

Thank you for your continued support. This does not affect our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner client care at all. We will let you all know of a time frame for his return once a few things are sorted out. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Today, we will discuss the peptide known as BPC – 157. The information contained this video is purely informational, and it is not intended replace or change your current regimen, set forth by you and your healthcare practitioner. As always, you should consult your healthcare practitioner prior to starting any supplementation. As I mentioned the video, this has shown promising studies in animal trials, however, human studies are still very limited. This makes the topics somewhat controversial, but due to the high demand of request for information regarding peptides, we went ahead and released this video. Let us know what you think. When Rekha Desai had a stroke, her son, Dr. Dhaval Desai, reacted in doctor mode and got her quick care. But throughout her recovery he was in son mode, which proved to be eye-opening.

After her stroke, Rekha had trouble with her peripheral vision and was unstable walking. After five days, Rekha was strong enough to go home from the hospital. She needed help bathing and dressing. Thanks to therapy, she’s fully recovered.

“It was frightening and stressful being on ‘the other side,” Dhaval said.

During her recovery, Rekha had another devoted family caregiver, her 6-year-old granddaughter, Kaiya. “She was always there,” Rekha said. “She wanted to make sure I was safe.”

I’m not too little to help,” Kaiya said more than once. She bought a word search book to help Rekha, her dida, with her letters.

Kaiya wrote a book about her grandmother’s stroke that she shared with her classmates. “I want people to see how I solved my problems. Maybe this can help them or give them ideas on how to solve their own problem.” Caregivers hold it all together, but they also need support.

Good evening from GetRight Healthcare!

We wanted to take a moment to answer a few common questions we’ve received lately regarding GLP-1 medications.

Nutrition and Exercise:
We recommend that you aim for at least 1,000 to 1,250 calories per day and incorporate some resistance training into your weekly routine. While GLP-1 medications are effective for weight loss, it’s important to maintain adequate nutrition to prevent muscle loss. Using resistance bands or weights can help preserve muscle mass during your weight loss journey.

Dosing Guidelines:
We do our best to keep you at the lowest effective dose as long as you’re seeing results. If you hit a plateau, we may recommend increasing your dose. For those on Ozempic/Wegovy (semaglutide), the maximum recommended dose is 50 units per week (2.4 mg). For Mounjaro/Zepbound (tirzepatide), the highest dose is 140 units (14.0 mg) per week.

If you have missed your medication for any period of time, we recommend restarting at a lower dose and gradually titrating up to help reduce side effects such as nausea, vomiting, or constipation.

Follow-Up and Labs:
If it’s been some time since your last check-in, we recommend scheduling a follow-up and repeating labs to ensure your safety. Our provider will be reaching out for these appointments.

Payment Policy:
We know we repeat this often, but payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. If you need to delay your payment, please let us know. We understand that things happen. However, if invoices are ignored after repeated requests, this will result in delays with your prescriptions or possible dismissal from our practice.

We are very saddened to hear the news for the firefighters who lost their lives in the Timber Mesa Fire Medical. Another person also lost their life in the other vehicle. Our thoughts are with the victims families and their fire department family.

Dear Valued Patient,

We're writing to inform you about recent developments regarding tirzepatide (marketed as Zepbound and Mounjaro) and its availability through compounding pharmacies.

Eli Lilly, the manufacturer of Zepbound and Mounjaro, has initiated legal action against Strive Pharmacy regarding compound production. While Strive anticipated this development, they chose to continue providing compounded versions of the medication, recognizing its significant positive impact on patients' health journeys.

Current Status: Strive Pharmacy remains operational and continues to provide services. However, new prescription protocols likely will be implemented:

1. Patients without specific clinical requirements will be directed to brand-name/commercial versions of the medication (Zepbound or Mounjaro)

2. Patients requiring the compounded version must have documented clinical justification. Without proper documentation, prescriptions will not be processed. We will try to provide this documentation to all who need it.

Strive has released an official statement:

“This isn’t just an attack on Strive Pharmacy, this is an attack on personalized medicine, patient access, patient choice, and healthcare provider discretion. This is a classic example of Big Pharma overstepping legitimate regulations and prioritizing their own interests over patients’ and the general public is catching on. If Strive Pharmacy is the only one holding the line, so be it. Our patients and providers deserve our effort. Strive will vigorously defend our position and we look forward to being vindicated in the courts.”
