So, no more Iron Man! Does that make you sad? No worries - Some more laughter in your life is just what the doctor ordered. I should know because I’m “the doctor” in this new play in Flint!! Show opens this Thursday and runs for the next two weekends! It’s a lot of fun - hope some of my running friends can make it. This is what I’m doing this spring instead of the Iron Man for Couch Potatoes party.

End of an era. We’re selling our home and moving to Flint. So it’s time to move on from the Ironman for Couch Potatoes. The 15th annual party we had in March is now our last one. Sold the game tables and finished clearing out the basement today. Yes, I’m very sad, but time to do the next thing, whatever that maybe! The person who bought all the games is hoping to continue the event and I’ll be glad to assist as needed. So Couch Potatoes is done in my basement, but it may very well continue somewhere else. Stay tuned!!

Amazing night and great times. Wow what .. a ... night! We ended up with 48 players and a first-timer won it all beating three-time champ in the finals. Our overall tourney winners - Caeden Hunter (1st); Eric Wisniewski (2nd); Mike Basinski (3rd); and Blake Smith (4th). Women’s tourney winners - Jill Doak (1st); Emily Kelly (2nd); Cheryl Kelly (3rd); and Sydney Casper (4th). Thank you thank you to everyone making the 16th annual event a great one!!

Emmett and Chewy trying out the new bag of ping pong balls I bought for IronMan. Not sure if this is how they’re meant to be used, but they helped pass the time during our stay in the basement for the tornado warning!
