Getting your certification is a process but worth every second! There are numerous ones available that can be specific to your area! Visit ONS.ORG to learn more.

Fun fact: The national ONS organization also has scholarships available for those looking to get their certification. Visit: https://www.ons.org/career-development/grants-scholarships to learn more. I actually received the scholarship for the OCN one that paid for my whole test. Very good opportunities available!

Also remember that our chapter also has scholarships available as well!!

Apply for funding to earn an advanced degree, enroll in a continuing nursing education program, attend ONS Congress®, or pay for a certification exam.

Registration is open for this free program geared towards oncology nurses. It's a virtual event where you can get 12 CNE's and they even breakdown the points towards your OCN.

Topics include non-small cell lung cancer, biospecific antibodies, breast cancer, multiple myeloma, CAR T-cell therapies, prostate cancer, biomarker testing, financial toxicity and more.
