One of the fun and challenging activities we utilize in our Youth Baseball program is Water Tanks.

Utilizing these allows the boys to improve their ability to generate force while also training their body to "put on the breaks" by controlling the sloshing watered.

Our grinders last week were Kade and Lane!

GLP-1 medication use is on the rise. While this group of medications has several benefits, it is also known to influence muscle loss along with fat loss.

If you are noticing pelvic concerns: incontinence or a feeling of weakness, contact a pelvic floor therapist.

Fat and muscle loss impacts the ge***al region along with the rest of the body, and guidance in pelvic strengthening may be helpful! Barb and Susie at our South Locust clinic are fantastic! Message us or call 308-382-9700 to consult with them today!

New Year. New Goals? 🎉

If your goal is to get back into an exercise routine, we are cheering for you!

Here are a few tips:
1. Give yourself manageable goals. Start where you can lift with good technique and bracing strategies. Be patient with the process!

2. If you leak when you lift, jump, or run, call our South Locust clinic to speak with our pelvic floor therapists. They can make suggestions to keep you dry while you continue to progress! 308-382-9700

3. Build your exercise routine into your schedule with priority. Don’t put it on a to-do list. Your health matters. By prioritizing your health you are setting a good example for the rest of your family and loved ones to follow 💪🏻

Cheers to a stronger 2026!

Our Story

Barb co-founded Live Well Physical Therapy in 2008 with the goal of being able to provide one-on-one individualized care to the people in Grand Island. In 2012 Barb took over as sole owner until joining in partnership with Matt Hilligas in 2015. When a patient enters the doors of Live Well, we hope that they feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. We have been told by patients that our atmosphere is unique in that way. Our staff makes that goal achievable from the reception area to the treatment area, and by assisting patients in/out of the building. Neither Barb or Matt have ever worked with a more team-oriented and high-quality group of individuals. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide one-on-one treatment utilizing evidenced based treatment/interventions paired with friendly and professional interactions.
