There are 59 days left this year. It's been a rollercoaster year, we can all admit. But don't let your health slide during this time. Out of all we can't control, take charge of what you can -- your health. Don't rely on motivation -- it's fleeting. Create some habits and routines to carry into 2021. You are worthy of being shown up for as anyone else in life, so make yourself a priority. Believe it or not, discipline equals freedom.
Need help with creating a sustainable plan? Or just someone to talk with? I'm here for you. Beginning in 2021, I will have a soft opening of a few client spots. But I would love to help you now, to finish this year strong and build a system to bring into the new year. ❤

I read something this morning that struck a chord with me, and I wanted to share....
We all desire something in life. Specifically thinking about weight loss and fitness, we want that "magic number" on the scale, and we think we will be happy when we hit that goal. That life will be in full bloom, and everything you've worked for will come to fruition if we can just reach that weight we want. Or shape we want. Or the amount in the bank. The list is endless.
Of course health is important, and striving to get to a goal weight or some kind of physical shape isn't a bad thing! But will you be happy ? Will all the dreams come true? Sometimes I think I'll meet the man of my dreams or he will come walking in the door when I hit that weight. But will I be happy? Will I want more?
Maybe instead, we can learn to be happy in our circumstances. Nothing wrong with working towards a goal, whatever it may be. But if you can be happy with yourself and with life now, and the things you do have or relationships you have, maybe it will be multiple or more blessed once the other things you work for fall into place ?
This is just a ramble of thoughts this morning, but I guess my encouragement would be to learn to love yourself and be happy in this moment, rather than fixing your mind to think that "if I just get A or B, I'll be happy" ...when in reality your happiness might be right in front of you on this journey... ❤

Your life is a direct result of choices. "What you don't change, you choose. " This hit hard, but I wanted to share.
You can choose to eat nourishing foods, or not.
You can choose to become active in whatever way fits your lifestyle, or remain stagnant.
You can choose to begin a new job or career, or stay stuck in something that makes you miserable.
You can choose to work on mental health and taking care of your body, or suffer the consequences.
Sometimes tough love is what is needed. It's hard to get up, have a morning routine, eat to fuel your body, and move to keep mobility. Or it's hard to feel crappy, move sluggishly, and feel bad in general throughout the day.
Choose your hard. Choose your health 💜

The number on the scale will NOT tell you...
1) what a great person you are
2) how much you are valued
3) that you are a bada$$ human
4) your self worth
5) how many people you will inspire
6) what you are capable of
7) how talented you are
8) how intelligent you are
9) your future endeavors
10) what you are made of and proving that

Hi everyone ! I know I haven't posted in quite a while. Life has been a little crazy for everyone.
I want to start training clients and help others achieve their goals, however I am a little more focused on becoming a better trainer and overall coach for my clients. I am working on a better certification that will encompass training as well as nutrition and other specialized certifications to allow me to be flexible in working with multiple client situations and be well rounded education wise. I also have been working on the best way to deliver training to y'all. I do not want to be like every other "fitspo" and offer the same kind of training...mostly because I will be on the journey with you.
Anyway, long story short, I am working to become a better trainer overall, as well as how to best serve you, while also working on myself mentally and physically ! I hope you can forgive me for being absent, and know that more will be coming soon.
Stay well ❤ ~ Rehn

There is no quick fix. Consistency, time, patience, and balancing your lifestyle with lowering stress, keeping hormones in check, eating nutrient dense foods, getting enough sleep and moving or some form of exercise is the way and it's rewarding! ❤

Due to a nagging back injury that is once again plaguing me this year, I decided to hold off on any training plans for now. If there's one thing I've learned the hard way this year, it's that no one is invincible, and to listen to your body. I'm taking a few weeks to rest and get myself healed before I take on a new challenge. Your health is extremely important my friends...please don't forget that ! You only get one "you"; listen to any warning signs and take the time to balance and rest. Thank you for the support ❤ I'll be back soon 💪

The holidays are here, and it should be a time of cheer! Here are a few holiday eating and fit tips to carry with you 🍁

1) Slow down. I know, it sounds crazy, especially in today's world. But the holidays only come once a year, so enjoy this time ! Enjoy the food. Slow down when eating and savor every bite. Engage in conversation and meaningful time. Focus your attention to conversation or helping others rather than worrying about food.

2) If you want to stick to your fitness goals, I applaud you! By all means go for it, you've got this! But if you aren't looking to stay totally on track, just be mindful of what your eating. Start your day with water and drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated. Enjoy foods that are nutrient dense and filling, so that you won't go overboard. Generally speaking, foods that are higher in good fats ( macadamia nuts, avocados, eggs, full fat cheeses) will keep you fuller longer. Portion your food as well if you do want to enjoy some sweet potato casserole. 🤤

3) And the day after a big holiday meal, please please please don't beat yourself up! There is no need for the guilt trip we put ourselves on thinking that we've done something "bad" by what we chose to eat. It's a new day; go back to your routine, keep water handy, don't go crazy with hours of cardio or starving yourself. This is a time to enjoy family and friends and the season. ❤

Please reach out if you need someone to talk to or have questions! ❄
