A probiotic is not just ‘a probiotic.’
Officially, probiotics are live microorganisms that provide a health benefit when taken in adequate amounts.
But not every product labeled ‘probiotic’ has proven benefits.
The strain matters. The dose matters.
And even the label can be misleading if it doesn’t tell you how many live organisms are still present by the end of shelf life.
So don’t just buy the bottle with the biggest number on it.
Be strategic.
