No Christmas decorating, no Christmas baking and I didn’t even do Christmas cards this year …

We are still in a rental (but moving back into our almost easy home this weekend!) so this is our tree 🎄

BUT my family of 5 is all together. We are all healthy (well Todd is trying to get a cold but we’re not letting that happen) we all have beds to sleep in, Cash said the most beautiful grace at dinner last night, which was our Christmas Eve tradition of steak and crab. We are blessed beyond blessed. So grateful for God’s grace AND mercy.

GRACE is getting what you don’t deserve.

MERCY is not getting what you do deserve.

Father God,

I come to You with a heart full of gratitude for the incredible gift of Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for loving me so much that You made a way for me to have a relationship with You. Thank You for sending Jesus to take on my sins and die in my place so that I could be forgiven and have the hope of a forever home with You in heaven. Your grace and mercy are beyond anything I can comprehend, and I am so thankful.

Jesus, thank You for stepping out of heaven and coming to this broken world to rescue me. Thank You for enduring the pain, the rejection, and the cross because You loved me that much. Thank You for rising again and defeating death so that I could live in freedom and joy. I am humbled and in awe of all You’ve done for me.

Holy Spirit, we thank You for being my Comforter, Guide, and constant Companion. Jesus, I am so grateful that You did not leave me alone but sent the Holy Spirit to dwell within me. Thank You for leading me into truth, empowering me to live out my faith, and reminding me daily of Your presence and promises. Thank You for giving me the strength to face life’s challenges and the wisdom to walk in Your will.

Lord, I’m overwhelmed by Your love for me. I don’t deserve it, but I am so thankful. Help me to live every day in gratitude and surrender, sharing Your love with others and staying close to You.

I didn’t realize how much I needed Todd to be a spiritual leader in our family until I saw it in action. Sometimes, we forget the importance of stepping back and letting our partners lead. God’s love is constant, even when we’re angry or hurting.
